Agile Expands Channel Partner Programme In Europe

Agile Extends Global PLM Market Leadership for Small and Medium Enterprises

Bracknell, UK - April 26, 2006 - Agile Software Corporation (Nasdaq: AGIL), a leading provider of product lifecycle management (PLM) solutions, today announced the expansion of its European channel programme, extending its global leadership in the small and medium enterprises (SME) PLM sector.

The expanded programme has two key elements: the launch of Agile’s Industrial Competence Partner (ICP) consortium, which focuses on the industrial manufacturing market sector in central Europe, and an expanded and more comprehensive channel focus across Europe for Agile Advantage, a comprehensive suite of PLM solutions aimed at the electronic and high tech and medical device SME markets.

The ICP has been created to specifically support and better serve the needs of Agile’s customer base in the European industrial manufacturing sector, a market that has been traditionally strong for Agile. The ICP consortium includes Aspectis GmbH, Dr. Maier CSS GmbH & Co. KG, and usb Management Consulting and System Development GmbH.

After witnessing a significant increase in the number and profitability of SMEs in the European manufacturing sector, Agile launched its SME-tailored PLM solution, Agile Advantage, across selected European markets in 2005. The latest version, rolled out across Europe in March 2006, offers enhanced localized content and language support, and is the leading PLM solution for SMEs in the electronics and high tech and medical device industries. Agile Advantage builds on Agile’s collaboration and compliance strengths, providing small to mid-sized companies with greater visibility into the entire product lifecycle, accelerating product innovation, reducing product development costs, enhancing product quality, driving overall profitability, and managing the increasingly stringent and growing list of compliance directives.

With over 500 SME customers worldwide, Agile’s SME business has grown significantly over the past 18 months. Agile is now actively recruiting and training new channel partners to continue this growth across all major manufacturing locations in Europe. Qualified Agile partners have a dedicated Agile business plan, sales resources, and trained pre-sales and implementation employees, and support the development of ongoing marketing and sales pipeline activities. By committing to these activities, channel partners will also qualify for further benefits.

“Agile’s commitment to its channel partners is crystal clear. With a massive potential customer base across Europe, not to mention existing Agile users that will be migrated to the channel programme under the ICP Consortium, there is an enormous opportunity for revenue growth,” said Martin Alleman, Agile vice president, sales, EMEA. “The shifting economics of global manufacturing output have changed Europe’s historical manufacturing base immeasurably over the past 50 years. Reduced time to market, supply chain efficiencies and regulatory compliance are key concerns for European manufacturers, and PLM solutions will become as ubiquitous as ERP, CRM and other enabling technologies.”
