NEEDHAM, Mass. - April 12, 2005 - PTC (Nasdaq: PMTC), the Product Development Company™, today announced that it will provide PLM solutions to Herstal Group, Liège (Belgium), a leading provider of firearms and accessories for defense, law enforcement, hunting and marksmanship. The initial three-year agreement is part of Herstal Group’s worldwide PLM program, where two complementary concepts – one to provide global logistics process management and the other to provide an IT infrastructure to manage product information - are bundled.

Herstal’s product development environment spans the globe with engineering and manufacturing teams in Europe, Japan and the United States. PTC’s Global Services organization will work with Herstal Group to coordinate all PLM projects around the world, thereby creating a true technology infrastructure to bring together the people and processes that deliver Herstal’s quality products.
