ViaSat selected Agile PS&I based on the company’s successful implementation of Agile Product Collaboration. By adding Agile PS&I to its PLM deployment, ViaSat expects to drive product quality and customer satisfaction.

In 2003, ViaSat implemented Agile Product Collaboration solution to provide better visibility and control of the product record across the lifecycle, manage direct material costs, and improve product profitability. Within six months ViaSat experienced a 44 percent efficiency gain from the initial design to the completion of a product prototype, a 20 percent improvement in engineering change orders, and a 30 percent improvement in overall organizational efficiency.
