announced the second annual Asia Pacific PLM
Excellence Award. The award, launched in 2004,
recognizes UGS customers in Asia Pacific that have
achieved exceptional business success through the
use of PLM software and services.
UGS recognized
Beiqi Foton Motor, a leading manufacturer of
vehicles ranging from light buses and SUVs to large
coaches, as the winner in 2004 for its ability to
dramatically accelerate product development.

submission is March 31, 2005 and winners will be
announced in June 2005. The winner will be awarded
with an invitation to an off-site PLM retreat. Both
the winner and runner-up will be invited to PLM
World 2006 in USA to present their success stories.
Entries will be judged based on the derived
business benefit and future vision of each client.
