CENIT AG Systemhaus Achieves Dassault Systèmes Certified Education Partner Status

Advanced designation demonstrates CENIT’s proven capabilities in developing PLM education programs
Stuttgart, Germany and Paris, France – June 23, 2004  –  Dassault Systèmes (Nasdaq: DASTY; Euronext Paris: #13065, DSY.PA), the world’s leading developer of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions, today announced that it has awarded CENIT AG Systemhaus (Xetra: #540710.DE) its Certified Education Partner (CEP) designation for Germany.

CENIT’s PLM education and training division has met the highest quality and performance requirements and has therefore earned the CEP designation.

Dassault Systèmes awards the CEP label to selected education providers with proven track records in helping companies implement world-class learning solutions that maximize return on PLM investments.

“CENIT has a long history of successfully deploying new PLM methodologies for companies of all sizes in various industries,” said Hubertus Manthey, member of the executive board, CENIT AG. “We are pleased that Dassault Systèmes has chosen to publicly recognize our work by designating CENIT as a Certified Education Partner.”

“Among CENIT’s proven strengths in engineering education programs are its skills in customizing our Companion workplace learning solutions,” said Philippe Forestier, executive vice president, Dassault Systèmes. “This capability enables CENIT to offer blended educational programs that allow companies investing in PLM to ramp up quickly and effectively.”

“The training of our CATIA designers is of paramount importance to us,” said Friedemann Schmieg, CAD/EDM director of ORIS Fahrzeugteile, a CENIT client. “We benefit from CENIT’s years of experience in this area; its teaching of job-relevant methods in training courses leads us to continually rely on education provided by the CENIT Academy.”

The CEP label is the highest qualification that can be reached by a member of Dassault Systèmes’ Education Partner Program. The program is comprised of a growing network of more than 95 companies with more than 800 teachers in 32 countries. Partners provide education and training on Dassault Systèmes’ CATIA, ENOVIA, and SMARTEAM PLM solutions.
