Darmstadt, March 4 - 2004 – Today – a time
in which the working place is no longer an island
unto itself but rather part of a global network –
insufficiently mature processes constitutes a
considerable obstacle to realizing full innovative
potential. But only through innovation it is
possible to achieve and secure leading positions
in the long term. In what way do we have to design
cooperation along the complete product lifecycle
in order to promote innovation?
The ProSTEP iViP Association together with the
host DaimlerChrysler AG invites you to attend this
year’s ProSTEP iViP Symposium which is being held
under the motto
Innovation by Cooperation – Best Practices and
Future Trends
on April 28 and 29, 2004 at the Mercedes Event
Center in Sindelfingen. The presentation of Best
Practices and their implementation in day-to-day
practice, as well as the presentation of new
developments, provide the framework for the
program of events.
The symposium will be opened by Professor Dr.
Bharat Balasubramanian, Vice President Engineering
Technology and Regulatory Affairs at
DaimlerChrysler AG. This will be followed by 17
presentations which will provide insight into
current projects and solutions of leading users
from the automotive industry and their suppliers,
as well as system vendors. Workshops, designed to
deal with certain topics in more depth, will
complete the program. The plenary presentations
and workshops are linked as regards of content.
This combination allows those attending to discuss
the approaches and results presented in more
detail and thus participate actively in the event.
The symposium will be brought to a close by Ulrich
Sälzer, Director IT-Commercial Vehicles/
Development at DaimlerChrysler AG.
As always, various software companies and business
consultants will present themselves in the
accompanying exhibition. Thus the exhibition
offers a place for information and communication.
