announced that Yazaki North America, Inc.
(Yazaki), a leading Tier One automotive supplier
of vehicle power and data solutions, is currently
implementing its initial deployment of MatrixOne
solutions and is expanding its usage to include
additional users and functional areas. Yazaki is
using Matrix10™, the industry's most flexible PLM
environment, to streamline product development
efforts by allowing different teams within Yazaki
to collaborate together earlier in the development
process.
Yazaki will use the Matrix PLM Platform™ and
several of MatrixOne's Collaborative Applications,
including MatrixOne Engineering Central™,
MatrixOne Document Central™, MatrixOne Team

Supplier Central™ to help establish corporate-wide
best practices for managing product lifecycles and
provide a single, unified view into all of its BOM
(bill of materials) and engineering data across
disparate systems and departments. These
capabilities alone will help Yazaki reduce product
development time by giving them visibility across
programs, maximizing part re-use and reducing
