UGS PLM Solutions, the product lifecycle

announced it experienced record high attendance at
its users conferences. More than 4,500 prospects,
customers and partners from the automotive,
consumer electronics, aerospace, defense, energy
and other industries were represented.
The conference series kicked off in Tokyo and
continued in China, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore and
India over the past month.

consulting firm, issued a report this year naming
UGS PLM Solutions (previously EDS PLM Solutions)
as the number one supplier, based on 2002 revenue,
of collaborative Product Definition Management
(cPDM), the fastest growing segment of the PLM
market. Asia Pacific is the fastest growing market
for UGS PLM Solutions.
Keynote speakers for the conferences -- which
included Mr. Peter Billelo, senior consultant of
CIMdata; Mr. Toshikazu Kishimoto, general manager,
System Development Dept, Global IS Division,
Nissan Motor Co., Ltd.; Prof. Jay Kim, Hanyang
University -- shared their vision for the PLM
industry and their companies’ successes.
Numerous customers shared their success stories

during the break-out sessions. Chuck Grindstaff,
