UGS PLM Solutions’ Asia Pacific Users Conferences Experience Record High Attendance, Indicating Increasing Interest In Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Software and Services

Over 4,500 Prospects, Customers and Partners Attended Across Asia Pacific Region
Tokyo  - November 21, 2003 - UGS PLM Solutions, the product lifecycle management (PLM) subsidiary of EDS, today announced it experienced record high attendance at its users conferences. More than 4,500 prospects, customers and partners from the automotive, consumer electronics, aerospace, defense, energy and other industries were represented.

The conference series kicked off in Tokyo and continued in China, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore and India over the past month.

Asia Pacific is the fastest growing market for UGS PLM Solutions.

Keynote speakers for the conferences -- which included Mr. Peter Billelo, senior consultant of CIMdata; Mr. Toshikazu Kishimoto, general manager, System Development Dept, Global IS Division, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd.; Prof. Jay Kim, Hanyang University -- shared their vision for the PLM industry and their companies’ successes.
