Ab jetzt greift die COMPASS-Workflow-Logik, so dass Freigabe und Änderung kontrolliert stattfindet. Alle Inventor-Projekte, auch vor der Einführung von COMPASS bestehende, werden einheitlich verwaltet und sind somit einfach zu finden und wiederzuverwenden. Eine weitere Neuerung ist das Aktualisieren der Inventor-Eigenschaften direkt aus COMPASS, ohne dass ein Starten von Inventor erforderlich wäre. Auch ist die Verwaltung der Vorlagen verbessert worden: Die Vorlage, die bei der Neuanlage aus Inventor standardmäßig vorgegeben wird, kann jetzt in COMPASS gemäß den Anforderungen des Anwenders eingestellt werden, was schnelleres und komfortableres Arbeiten zur Folge hat.
